Transfer Times Scholarship Guidelines

The Transfer Times $6,000 scholarship is for a full time or part-time student who transfers from a community college or technical college and enrolls at a partner four-year college or university. Enrollment as a full- or part-time student at one of our partner colleges or universities is required to receive the $6,000 scholarship. For a list of partner schools, visit https://www.transfertimes.com/college/partners.html. If the winner chooses to attend a non-partner school, they will receive a $2,000 scholarship. The scholarship award will be split evenly over four semesters. Verification of enrollment prior to the scholarship being sent out is required each semester. After the scholarship deadline, Transfer Times will email ten randomly-chosen applicants to fill out five essay questions in order to select the winner.

  1. To enter, you must be enrolled at a two-year community college or technical college and show proof that you are a student at the time of winning the scholarship. Students that are enrolled in dual high school/AA degree courses are not eligible.
  2. One entry per person per semester is permitted. Only online entries from TransferTimes.com will be accepted.
  3. The first use of the scholarship must be used within two years of the date on which the winner is announced. The four scholarship awards must be used on subsequent semesters.
  4. Enrollment within two years as a full or part time student at a four-year college or university is required.
  5. This scholarship is non-transferable. All admissions requirements and other college or university rules must be met.
  6. This program is administered entirely by Transfer Times and the four-year school's financial aid office. All decisions are the sole responsibility of Transfer Times. All decisions are final.
  7. Individuals cannot win the scholarship more than one time.
  8. Entry in this scholarship contest indicates consent to our privacy policy, including how your information is shared: Scholarship applicants to the contest will have their personal identifiable information shared with third party Transfer Times advertisers (advertising colleges and business partners of Transfer Times that are listed on the website).
