Scholarship Contests and Survey - Including How Your Information is Shared
Our site requests information from users via the scholarship contest and survey. Participation in the scholarship contest and survey is voluntary. The requested information includes contact information, which will be used to notify the winners and award prizes.  Scholarship applicants to the contest will have their personal identifiable information shared with third party Transfer Times advertisers (advertising colleges and business partners of Transfer Times that are listed on the website). The scholarship applicant’s information will be shared with both the advertising colleges that the students select to receive information from and with advertising schools who advertise in the edition coverage area where the scholarship contest applicant goes to school.  If a student selects Undecided for colleges, their information will still be shared with advertisers in the edition coverage area where the scholarship contest applicant goes to school. Scholarship contest winners consent to having their name and picture used on the website and in the publication for promotional purposes. An entry into the scholarship contest indicates consent to allow us to share user information and also constitutes agreement to and acknowledgement of this privacy policy.

In addition to your information being shared with advertisers, Transfer Times will email scholarship applicants about new advertising schools, articles about transferring and other promotional information from Transfer Times.

Survey information will be used in aggregate form for improving the use and satisfaction with the website and publication.
