William Penn UniversityWilliam Penn wants you to visit its growing campus! There are a lot of things to consider when deciding on the college that’s right for you. Because you’ve been through the process before, you already know some of the things to look for, like curriculum choices, class sizes and financial aid. You know, too, that there are some things you can’t really put a label on, like the friendliness of the faculty and students or how it feels to be on campus. That’s why it's so important to make a campus visit. We want to answer all your questions, introduce you to faculty members, and show you around our growing campus. It’s an exciting time in the life of William Penn University. New facilities opened last fall, including a huge new student activity complex and a new communications and technology center. Programs are expanding too. Among the newest offerings is a B.S.N. completion program for R.N.s. This program is designed to allow you to continue working, if you wish, while completing your bachelor's degree. Classes are blocked so you only have to be on campus one day a week. We're also offering new majors in computer science, with an eye on the latest developments in technology. Many students transfer to Penn; receive financial aid Over one-third of our current student body has transferred credit from other institutions, so we know how to make the transition smooth for you. Credits from a completed associate degree are automatically accepted, and all other credits will be evaluated on a course-by-course basis. Nearly all William Penn students will qualify for some type of financial aid, which may include state grants that are only awarded to students of private colleges like Penn. Other forms of financial aid are academic, fine arts, media, athletic, leadership, activity, and department scholarships and grants. Diverse student population The student population at Penn is diverse, with over 1700 students from 43 states and 12 countries on three campuses. There are lots of activities and student organizations too, including fraternities and sororities; music and theatre; student government; intramurals; religious, professional and special interest groups; and student-run media. You’ll find that it is easy to get involved at William Penn!
