AIB College of BusinessEarn your Bachelor’s Degree at AIB If you are looking to earn a bachelor’s degree while continuing to work, AIB College of Business might be the best choice for you. AIB in Des Moines offers a bachelor’s degree completion program in accounting, business administration, court reporting and steno captioning at its campus. Students with at least an associate degree can complete their bachelor’s degree at AIB. Online bachelor’s degrees are also offered in accounting and business administration. Students who enroll full-time can benefit from the Tuition Freeze Program, which means tuition will not increase for the duration of the program. The accounting and business administration bachelor program offers practical business curriculum and convenient class times for working adults. The degree combines humanities courses, technology and best business practices. In the court reporting and closed captioning program, students are taught for careers in official and freelance court reporting and other realtime technology and are prepared for positions as broadcast captioners and CART (Computer Access Realtime Translation) services providers. CART reporters provide relative services for the hearing-impaired population in educational and corporate settings. AIB features four terms per year, offering day, evening and online degrees to students. The online and evening college programs are designed for working adults by holding classes in the evening and weekends. One of the benefits is that students are able to learn on their own time and schedule, Cigelman said. Ninety-nine percent of AIB graduates are employed or continuing their education. The AIB Career Services Department assists students in finding part-and full-time employment and prepares them for job interviews. In addition, the Career Services team offers life-long assistance to its graduates. AIB College of Business is an independent, nonprofit, coeducational college of business.
