Small by design, Lincoln College – Normal (LCN) is a student – oriented, Liberal Arts College, offering baccalaureate degrees and select vocational programs. We are a great choice for transfer students seeking strong academic programs and personalized instruction in an inspired learning environment. We’ve simplified the enrollment process for transfer students and established formal agreements with community colleges across Illinois allowing students to transfer credits toward a Bachelor’s degree program at LCN.
In addition to small classes and great faculty, transfer students rave about the apartment-style housing, which allows students the convenience and security of living on campus, but with the freedom and amenities typically enjoyed by apartment dwellers.

ABE Program Designed for Busy Professionals. Many transfer students are juggling their academic goals with work and family demands. LCN’s Accelerated Bridge to Education (ABE) program is another great option for adult learners. Taught in an accelerated format, students attend class just one day a week, for five weeks at a time, supplementing seat time with an online component.

Scholarships & Financial Aid. LCN is committed to making the transition for transfer students as smooth as possible. We offer many scholarships for transfer students including merit awards based on all previous college level work. In fact, more than 90% of the students at Lincoln College receive some form of financial aid.
