Finish your degree at Grace College as a student in the GOAL program

Life happens. Sometimes it’s beautiful, sometimes it’s messy, and it’s nearly always unpredictable. You were right in the middle of working toward obtaining a college degree, when suddenly, life happened. You started a family, your mom got sick, you ran out of tuition money, you got married, you took one year off that turned into 10. Whatever the specifics, something sidelined you from finishing your degree.

So what do you do when life interrupts your plans for a college degree? Answer: Set a new GOAL. Grace College’s GOAL program (Grace Opportunities for Adult Learners) has a solution for students who previously earned at least 60 credit hours in community or traditional colleges. So all those late nights, tuition checks, and painful papers weren’t wasted after all! Eligible students can now finish their degree and earn a fully accredited Bachelor of Science in Management in as little as 16 months. Yeah, that’s right. In less than two years you can achieve that milestone you thought was beyond reach, getting you one step closer to that bigger paycheck, better job, or sense of accomplishment you’ve been dreaming about.

But wait, you’re thinking. I still have the rest of my life to deal with. We get it. Grace recognizes that you can’t just put life on hold and go back to school; that’s why we don’t ask you to. Because Grace believes in giving people options, the GOAL program can be completed either on campus or entirely online.

The new entirely online GOAL program provides the flexibility adult learners need to be successful. With this option, you’ll be able to complete the entire program from home. That means no headaches from lining up baby-sitters, working around the kids’ soccer practice, or juggling your work schedule. If you choose the on campus program, you’ll meet just one evening per week, plus some Saturdays.

The GOAL program is set up in a cohort model with classes made up of adult students returning to college to improve their career opportunities and who seek the personal satisfaction of completing a bachelor’s degree – people like you. The classes are taught by esteemed Grace professors and local business leaders – people who have experience.

Let’s talk specifics. What are the requirements to be enrolled in the GOAL program? Students eligible for Grace’s GOAL program have earned at least 60 credits and maintained a 2.0 GPA or higher at Ivy Tech or another community or traditional college. Grace knows that sometimes the knowledge you bring to the table doesn’t come from a classroom – it comes from real life experience. At Grace, that experience counts for something. Because practical experience is so important in the business world, Grace may offer students credit based on life and employment experiences.

Financial aid is available for students who qualify. Student services, such as the Grace Morgan library and help from the Learning Center, are available to GOAL students for free. Not sure about the application process? Don’t worry – we’ll walk you through it. Committed individuals who make your success in the GOAL program their priority will walk you through the admissions process and be there to support you during your time in the program.
