Monmouth CollegeMonmouth College: A quality liberal arts education at a great value Recognized as a nationally ranked liberal arts college, Monmouth is known for its progressive curriculum, designed with an appreciation for how people best learn—through interdisciplinary courses, discussions with peers, and team-based, hands-on labs. Residential life is also a key part of the Monmouth experience. We believe many of your most important lessons will be learned outside the classroom, through personal interaction with faculty and fellow students, off-campus study, extracurricular activities and volunteer opportunities. The first time you visit Monmouth, you will be struck by the beautiful campus and impressed by the comfortable facilities. In the past decade, $50 million has been invested to upgrade every aspect of the campus, from three state-of-the-art new residence halls to a sparkling new athletic center and football stadium. But comforts extend beyond surroundings. You’ll also enjoy a wide variety of delicious cuisines and a choice of dining locales; wireless Internet is available campus-wide; a modern fitness center is always at your disposal; and there is plenty of entertainment programming, from musical artists and comedians to first-run movies. Monmouth students come from all walks of life, but they share a common goal—to realize their maximum potential. They work hard and also play hard. They seek out new experiences, explore different cultures and beliefs, and are active in multiple student organizations. The lifelong friendships you will forge at Monmouth will form a support net you can depend on. Our faculty thrives on seeing your talents and intellect develop. They are committed to helping you succeed, both in a career and as a person. Monmouth graduates are individuals with character. They are responsible leaders, engaged with their community. A college education is major investment, but a Monmouth education is also a great value. Not only is our tuition among the lowest of national liberal arts colleges, but we also offer substantial financial assistance to 99 percent of our students.
